For the second year in a row, the Financial Times has recognized the University of Saskatchewan’s Edwards Executive Education as one of the world’s top executive education providers - solidifying its place among the global elite in professional development and leadership training.

“This continued recognition by the Financial Times is a powerful affirmation of the impact and excellence of our programs,” said Dr. Marjorie Delbaere (PhD), acting dean of the Edwards School of Business. “To be ranked among the world’s best for a second consecutive year reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering transformative learning experiences that meet the evolving needs of today’s leaders.”

The Financial Times Business School Rankings evaluate open enrolment programs based on criteria such as participant satisfaction, teaching quality, skills development, and program design. Institutions must meet rigorous standards, including AACSB or EFMD accreditation and a minimum revenue threshold, to be eligible for consideration.

Edwards Executive Education diverse portfolio includes flagship offerings such as The Leadership Development Program and The Effective Executive Leadership Program, recognized as Saskatchewan’s premier leadership development experience. Complemented by a broad selection of courses in leadership, project and process management, and strategic communication, these programs are designed to equip professionals with practical, high-impact skills that drive organizational success and personal growth. This commitment to excellence has contributed to Edwards Executive’s recognition in the Financial Times rankings.

Edwards Executive Education stands proudly alongside other top Canadian institutions such as HEC Montréal, Western University’s Ivey School of Business, York University’s Schulich School of Business and University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business in the 2025 Financial Times Executive Education Open Rankings.

“Being recognized for a second-year highlights how deeply our programs are rooted in real-world relevance. They create lasting value for the people and organizations we serve,” said Bobbi Spicer, Director of Edwards Executive Education. “This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our team, the strength of our partnerships, and the trust placed in us by professionals and organizations seeking meaningful development. We remain focused on innovation, accessibility, and excellence in everything we do. It’s proof that world-class executive education can thrive in Saskatchewan and that our local success stories are earning international respect.”
